Rupert Grint and Dougray Scott will star in a television remake of Guy Ritchie’s film Snatch, set to air on the streaming network Crackle.
Ritchie’s 2000 hit starred Jason Statham, Brad Pitt, and Benicio Del Toro as members of a group of swindlers who come upon a truckload of stolen gold bullion and are thrust into the world of underground crime.
Grint, known for his portrayal of Ron Weasley in the Harry Potter franchise, will star as charismatic con man Charlie Cavendish.
Scott will take on the role of Vic Hill, who runs the game from prison, and Gossip Girl alum Ed Westwick will play nightclub owner Sonny Castillo. The 10-episode first season will premiere on Crackle in 2017.
