Rupert Grint being cast in a Snatch TV show caught us all by surprise when it was announced last month, if we’re being honest.
However, the Harry Potter actor has most definitely moved on from the jittery days of Ron Weasley going by new pictures from the set of his new TV show.
In the snaps, Rupert’s character Charlie Cavendish leads his gang of would-be hustlers wearing pig masks.
He also sports a rather large boomstick, which would probably even make Voldemort cower.
The show has been filming since the end of August for its 10-episode debut on US streaming service Crackle.
Of course, we know that the series will be very much in the same gangster spirit of the original Jason Statham and Brad Pitt-starring movie.
However, this time it will follow a new generation of hoods in modern London, who take the city by storm when they boost a truckload of gold bullion.
Charlie has to dodge imprisoned gang lord Vic Hill (Dougray Scott) and nightclub owner Sonny Castillo (Ed Westwick) if he wants to become a real underworld player.
As well as starring, Rupert is also executive producing the Crackle series, and in case you’ve forgotten the whole Snatch feel.
